A note from Rose Ann Kelly,

Director of Programming and Education

Dear Friends of CTCSF –

In early August our Founding Artistic Director, Nancy Halverson, relocated with her family to Greenville, South Carolina. The move happened very quickly (fifteen days to be exact) when Nancy’s husband, Bruce, was invited to become the President of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. The months following Nancy’s departure have found the company busier than ever and have proved to be a period of discernment as to the future of The Children’s Theatre Company.

After much careful consideration, it is with great sadness that we announce that CTCSF will be closing its doors at the end of the 2007-2008 school year. It has been our sincere pleasure to work with the young people in the Sioux Falls and greater South Dakota community. They have been our joy and inspiration.

As you all know, CTCSF has served many thousands of young people and families throughout the Midwest since our first production seven years ago and, for the remainder of the year, we plan to carry on the outstanding programming that you have come to expect and appreciate. .

Thank you, friends, for your support of our dream and the gift of your children’s creativity.
